Statement of Faith

Our core beliefs guide our mission and inspire our commitment to serve God and others.

What We Believe at Kingdom Mission International

At Kingdom Mission International (KMI), we are rooted in the unchanging truth of God’s Word and committed to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations. As a Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, and mission-driven movement, our faith anchors all that we do—from church planting to leadership training, from disciple-making to humanitarian outreach.

We joyfully affirm the following core beliefs:

📖 1. The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our final authority for faith, life, and ministry.

2 Timothy 3:16–17 | 2 Peter 1:20–21

✝️ 2. The One True God

We believe in one eternal God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three persons yet one in essence, power, and glory.

Deuteronomy 6:4 | Matthew 28:19

👑 3. The Lord Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ: His virgin birth, sinless life, miraculous works, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, and personal return in power and glory.

John 1:1–14 | 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 | Acts 1:9–11

🌍 4. Humanity and the Fall

We believe humanity was created in God's image but fell into sin through disobedience. All people are spiritually dead and incapable of attaining righteousness without divine grace.

Genesis 1:27; 3:1–24 | Romans 3:23

🕊 5. Salvation by Grace Through Faith

We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, not by human works.

Ephesians 2:8–9 | Romans 5:1 | John 3:16

💧 6. Water Baptism

We believe in baptism by immersion for all believers as a public act of faith and identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.

Romans 6:3–4 | Matthew 28:19

🔥 7. Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe that every believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit, empowered for witness and ministry. We affirm speaking in tongues as one evidence of Spirit baptism.

Acts 1:8; 2:1–4; 10:44–46

🎁 8. Gifts of the Holy Spirit

We believe in the active operation of the gifts of the Spirit, as described in the New Testament, for the edification of the Church and advancement of the Gospel.

1 Corinthians 12:4–11 | Romans 12:6–8

🌿 9. The Spirit-Filled Life & Sanctification

We believe the Holy Spirit transforms believers through sanctification, producing fruit and conforming us to the image of Christ.

Galatians 5:22–25 | Romans 12:1–2

🍞 10. The Lord’s Supper

We believe in the sacred act of Communion as a memorial of Christ’s sacrifice and a celebration of our covenant with Him.

1 Corinthians 11:23–26

🩺 11. Divine Healing

We believe in divine healing as a provision of Christ’s atonement, accessible through faith and prayer.

Isaiah 53:5 | James 5:14–16

12. The Church

We believe in the global Church as the Body of Christ and in local congregations as expressions of that body. The Church exists to glorify God through worship, fellowship, discipleship, and mission.

Ephesians 4:11–16 | Acts 2:42–47

13. The Return of Christ

We believe in the personal and visible return of Jesus Christ. He will judge the living and the dead and establish His eternal Kingdom.

Titus 2:13 | Revelation 22:12

🌅 14. Resurrection & Eternal Life

We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost. The saved will enjoy eternal life with God, and the lost will face eternal separation.

John 5:28–29 | Revelation 20:11–15

💍 15. Biblical Marriage and Family

We believe that marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s love for the Church.

Genesis 2:24 | Matthew 19:4–6

🙌 Our Mission, Rooted in Our Faith

These foundational truths are the heartbeat of our mission. Everything we do—from equipping indigenous leaders to reaching the unreached—is driven by this unshakeable faith in Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and guided by the authority of God’s Word.

"For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake."
—2 Corinthians 4:5
